Updated: Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign is very cut and paste

Updated: The latest image has been released featuring the same cut and paste style, minus the garish colours and prints. What do you think?
So, what do you get when you turn creating an advertising campaign into an arts and craft project? The Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2010 advertising campaign staring Iselin Steiro, Mirte Maas and Patricia van der Vielt. Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign looks so uninspired, not reflecting the collection we saw on the runway with its sharp make up and styling.
Makes us miss Balenciaga’s run of ad campaigns with Jennifer Connelly – a collage just doesn’t cut it for a brand like Balenciaga.
