Julia Roberts signed on as Lancome’s global ambassador
She’s one of the highest paid women in Hollywood to not succumb to a beauty deal, but as the saying goes, never say never. Julia Roberts has been nabbed by Lancome as their “global ambassadress”. “By her remarkable personality and career, Julia Roberts is an emblematic woman of her time,” said Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International. “Her exceptional talent, her radiance and her strong commitments perfectly echo Lancôme’s values. We are convinced she will embody the brand in the most sublime way possible.” No word on the details of her contract but WWD says that she could command a beauty salary close to her acting paydays of $20 million plus. Not a bad reason to on to become a beauty ambassador when you have a growing family. [WWD]
