eBay fined by French court for selling LVMH perfumes
Watch what you buy your friends this Christmas because you won’t be able to sell your designer perfumes on eBay if LVMH have any say in the matter – albeit French eBay for now. They’ve argued in French court that they should be allowed to choose how its products are sold and won, with the court ordering eBay to pay the luxury giant 1.7 million euros in damages and cease selling brands like Kenzo, Givenchy, Christian Dior and Guerlain.
