Christian Lacroix still has no firm buyers as the waiting game continues

There has hope for Christian Lacroix a week ago, but now the future is looking a little bleak as potential buyers let a deadline pass to deposit cheques before the bankruptcy court hearing on December 1, AFP reported. With two parties in the running, it seemed as if the house of Lacroix would be saved, but both did not submit their financial guarentees to back their proposals by the November 26 deadline. “It is not all over yet, anything could happen,” administrator Regis Vaillot said. We hope so, but it could be quite a long holiday for some 89 employees who may not have a job. [AFP]
