Nicole Trunfio: I want to empower women and make them look like a goddess

nicoletrunfio-necklace-smallAustralian model and Make Me a Supermodel co-host Nicole Trunfio has joined the list of top models to branch out into other careers. The brunette stunner has teamed up with a Turkish company to create a line of jewelery, set to be unveiled next year. “I want to empower women and make them look like a goddess or a queen,” Trunfio told Pedestrian. “And it’s just like really beautiful to wear. It feels nice, it’s not heavy and in the winter it warms up because it’s got silver plated cooper. I’m really excited about it.”

Meanwhile Trunfio is taking her acting ambitions seriously, tweeting earlier this week that she had enrolled in a 4 week acting course at Sydney’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) who’s alumni include the likes of Cate Blanchett, Baz Luhrmann, Toni Collette and Simon Baker.

Currently in town to promote the launch of a local shopping centre, Trunfio also found time to shoot a cover for Australian Vogue‘s February 2010 issue with popular local photographer Max Doyle.
