Michelle Trachtenberg to design for Coach
Coach has taken note of Dooney and Bourke’s success with Hayden Panettiere and signed up Gossip Girl and Mercy star Michelle Trachtenberg to design a line of jewelry under their Poppy line. This is the first time Coach has collaborated with a celebrity to design accessories for them, while Trachtenberg has previously collaborated with Botkier to design a handbag for Oxfam. Trachtenberg’s first line for Coach will launch in time for Spring 2010 and will consist mostly of costume jewelry with a “tough-girl meets sugary-sweet vibe”. [WWD]
