Marc Jacobs: You can’t say no to Anna Wintour
It’s always interesting to hear of all the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing that goes on in the fashion industry. Just yesterday it was revealed that Marc Jacobs only attends the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awards because Anna Wintour insists upon it. “I only go to the CFDAs because if I don’t go, Anna Wintour calls up and says, ‘You have to go because you’re part of the American fashion industry, da da da da da,’ and you can’t say no to her.” With this revelation, I wonder what it took for Anna to convince Marc to be the honorary chair for this years awards.
