Melbourne’s Chadstone shopping centre has the prestigious title of being the biggest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere and recently celebrated the opening of their luxury section with the help of Australian model, Nicole Trunfio. The sultry model was clad in head to toe Chanel, including the limited edition Chanel 2.55 jumbo classic quilted lambskin bag.

“It was created by Karl Lagerfeld exclusively for the launch of our new boutique at Chadstone, which opened on Wednesday,” Susie Stenmark from Chanel Australia tells us.

Available in beige gold, the Chanel bag was first seen on the runway as part of the Cruise collection show in Venice this year and features a double lion emblem as the clasp. While the bag is identical to the one seen on the runway, there is a plaque inside the bag which declares its limited edition status. Only 100 of the bags were created and will set back Chanel fans AUD$4,910 from the Chanel boutique at Chadstone shopping centre.

The new luxury wing of Chadstone shopping centre includes Burberry, Chanel, Gucci, Coach, Hugo Boss, Tiffany and Co, Ralph Lauren and Omega boutiques with Jimmy Choo, Prada and Miu Miu rumoured to be opening soon.
