Rachel Rutt for Sass & Bide’s Resort 2009 collection
She was touted as the name to watch this Spring 2010 runway season, and while Rachel Rutt did march down 20 runways in New York alone, we are love her latest gig — fronting the campaign for Sass & Bide’s Resort 2009 collection entitled Dreamshaky.
Months of hard work at home and overseas will be revealed over the next few weeks; with the first cab off the rank is her editorial with Elyse Taylor in the November 2009 issue of Australian Vogue. Up next is an editorial shot by The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman for Vogue Italia and a look book for Marchesa.
As we look at the images of Rutt striking a romantic pose for Sass & Bide, we can’t help but be proud that local designers supporting local modelling talents.
