We’ve all seen that preview image from the Sex and the City movie 2 where Samantha Jones (played by Kim Cattrall) shows up at a red carpet premiere in the same sexy strapless number as teen-queen Miley Cyrus. According to reports, the Samantha wanted to appear young and hip (and relevant at 50+) only to be upstaged by Miley.

Now you can pre-order the Matthew Williamson Fall 2009 Futuristic Sequin Cocktail Dress – minus the embellished neckline – at the soon-to-be-launched Matthew Williamson online shop. No word on how much the sequined two-toned dress will retail for, but other sequined dresses from Fall 2009 retail for £1,995 and more.

Like the items that appeared in the Sex and the City movie 1, the retail price may sky rocket due to the demand. Meanwhile we found the belt the pair are also wearing; it’s by Roberto Cavalli and available now at Net-A-Porter for £640.
