Anne Vyalitsyna to run in ING NYC Marathon as a guide for athletes with a disability
The face of Chanel’s Chance and sometime model for Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret, Anne Vyalitsyna has announced on Twitter that she’s in training to run in ING’s New York City Marathon (the same one Katie Holmes ran two years ago) on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Not only that, the Russian model has volunteered to guide an athlete with a disability (AWD) through part of the marathon’s course that takes runners through five of the city’s boroughs.
She twittered “Yes, I’m running part of NYC Marathon on Nov.1st! Never been more excited in my life!” with a link to a confirmation letter thanking her for volunteering to guide an AWD.
The 23 year-old model has been assigned to guide an athlete by the name of Alexksander Dmitiev from the start line at Staten Island all the way to finish line at Central Park.
We wish the pair the best of luck!
