NYFW S/S 2010: Marc by Marc Jacobs, a rainbow of fun

Young, cool, quirky. It describes Marc by Marc Jacobs down to the T – every season. But his spring 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week seemed a little extra special, perhaps because it played on some of the fun and flirty accessories that made headlines earlier this year. Namely the Louis Vuitton bunny ears.

This season it was almost a remake of his Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 collection for a younger, cooler crowd with over sized bows in every colour adorning models heads. It was a show of prints of all shapes and sizes, it seems that one simply cannot escape the fact that Spring 2010 will be bright and very colourful.

  1. What a fun collection! I love the way Marc by Marc Jacobs mixes prints, colors, and shapes. The shoes caught my eye too, I love mixing extreme high-tops with girly dresses or skirts.
