NYFW S/S 2010: Karen Walker, the ruffled seaside ‘prisoner’
When we spoke to Karen Walker last month, she told us that her spring 2010 collection set to be unveiled at New York Fashion Week was inspired by the 1960s television series ‘The Prisioner’. But little did we know how quaint it would actually be. The New Zealand based designer gave the nautical look a new twist with a play on shape and adornment with ruffles adorning almost all her chic designs. KW fans will love the more mature collection.
