Cacharel names Alber Elbaz’ former assistant as creative director

cacharel-smallCedric Charlier has been named the new creative director for French label, Cacharel, following Estrella Archs and Eley Kishimoto’s brief one season stints at the house. Charlier has spent the last six years working at Lanvin under Alber Elbaz and will present his first collection next month at Paris Fashion Week Spring Summer 2010. This should be a bright step forward for Cacharel, following on from their recent collaborations with Liberty and their iconic floral prints. [Telegraph]
