Video: Anna Wintour on The Late Show with David Letterman, the whole thing
We saw CBS’s teaser earlier, WWD gave us a step by step rundown in today’s edition then finally Frockwriter has found the whole Anna Wintour interview on The Late Show with David Letterman on YouTube. It’s a must watch for any fashion fan with the queen of the industry calling herself a ‘luke-warm royalty with a whip from outer space” with Letterman asking her if she had ever put anyone in a headlock!
While she doesn’t appear to be quite the “ice queen” as The Devil Wears Prada, Wintour displayed some long lusted for personality. You have to admit that it would have been quite boring after 10 seconds. We wanted to see her character and while she was no caricature during the interview, Anna was real and honest – as much as you can be on national television.
Then again we can see some of that in RJ Cutler’s The September Issue.
