Video: Andre Leon Talley and all his monogram Louis Vuitton glory

I spoke about it a few months ago, when I was lucky enough to catch a preview screening of The September Issue – the most talked about fashion documentary since… well the Valentino: The Last Emperor documentary. And the scene that takes the cake for entertainment reasons is the one where Andre Leon Talley, Vogue’s Editor at Large clambers out of his town car draped in a Louis Vuitton monogram towel, carrying his racket in a LV sleeve and a few other LV cases for good measure.
I won’t tell you anymore about it because you really have to watch it to really understand the amusement and love ALT even more.

Andre Leon Talley is surprisingly down to earth despite his over the top designer duds. I met him briefly during NY’s Fall Fashion Week and he chatted just like one of the boys. He’s lovely.
