  • London Fashion Week may be celebrating their 25 year anniversary, but the most powerful and influential woman in fashion, Anna Wintour, won’t be attending the shows. As usual. [Examiner]
  • Meanwhile, the woman credited with discovering and nurturing Alexander McQueen, Isabella Blow, has two authors set to pen two different biographies about her life. Blow by Blow: The Story of Isabella Blow is the title of Dietmar Blow and Tom Sykes biography, while the second will be penned by Lauren Goldstein Crowe. [Observer]
  • Heidi Klum has been nominated for an Emmy Award thanks to her hosting duties on Project Runway. She’ll be up against the likes of Padma Lakshmi from Top Chef, Phil Keogham from the Amazing Race and Ryan Seacrest from American Idol. Mean while Project Runway is also up for an Emmy in the Outstanding Reality Competition Program against the same shows. [NY Mag]
  • Joshua Walter, a Hugo Boss model has been charged for taking part in a holdup ring that robbed 15 gas stations last month. The 20 year model also lives with his partner, a 37 year old former teacher – the pair met when he was 12 and reportedly hooked up when he was 17. [NY Post]
  • Alice Dellal, Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof have jumped ship from their modeling agency, Select, along with their booker Sarah Leon. Rumours then flew around that Leon was going to start her own agency before news came that the three socialite/models had signed up with Next models. [Modelina]
