Mulberry’s got another hit, say hello to Daria

Say hello to the latest addition to Mulberry’s bag family – the Daria. Teamed with Mulberry’s supple leather, the distinguishing feature is the large gold-tone hardware emblazoned with the Mulberry-tree logo. And of course like most Mulberry bag familes, the Daria is available in a myriad of styles, from a hobo to a clutch.
According to Mulberry, the bag family was not named after Canadian model Daria Werbowy or the misanthropic cartoon character. It didn’t need model relations has the Hobo style has been seen dangling on the arm of Kate Bosworth, Alexa Chung and even Britney Spears in the last few weeks. Not to mention its featured in Mulberry’s Fall 2009/10 advertising campaign on the arm of Irina Kulikova and Kasia Struss. Pictured above, the campaign was photographed by Steven Meisel.

hmm… not feeling it really. but then i’m a chanel girl who’d prefer to buy a bag that would last decades (that’s because bags get real expensive these days and i can’t afford a $2,000 bag that might go out of style in a season or two).
