We can’t recall a Project Runway model drama that rates anywhere as high as the drama surrounding “Morganza“, aka Morgan Quinn. Which could be the reason why models were often seen but barely heard from after Morgan Quinn made waves amongst the Season 1 designers. But the spotlight will shine on the models in the soon-to-be-aired season 6 of the fashion design series in the first spin-off of Project Runway.

Set to be called Models of the Runway, it will focus on the 16 models who compete for the chance to score that magazine spread in Marie Claire in their winning designers clothes. The show will air immediately after Project Runway, which premieres on Lifetime on August 20 at 10pm.

Hopefully the show will go behind the scenes enough so we can see the the likes of Michael Kors and Nina Garcia are like when they’re out of those judges chairs.
