Giorgio Armani to design interiors for luxury apartments

The likes of Versace and Missoni have luxury hotels all around the world, so it comes as no surprise that fellow Italian designer, Giorgio Armani is joining them with a set of apartments in Rome.
While it’s not a hotel, the luxury apartments will certainly feel like one with a 24 hour concierge service and Armani/Casa interiors. Armani/Casa’s services were enlisted as part of a project to convert a historical building into a complex of luxury serviced flats.
“The scheme was conceived from the desire to transform the ancient buildings of a quarter on the slopes of the Palatine Hill into a prestigious, sophisticated, cutting-edge residential complex,” Armani said in a statement.
Reuters reports that the Cavour220 project will include 62 apartments in 6 linked buildings and each owner can finalise the furnishing according to their own tastes – from a designs and finishes chosen by Armani/Casa of course.
Want one of these apartments for yourself? Get in touch with Doughty Hanson & Co European Real Estate Fund II or the property developer Europa Risorse. It’s in a beautiful location on Via Cavour, down the road from the Coluseum.
