Can you guess what year this Heidi Klum for Pringle of Scotland advertising campaign is from?

At first sight, you’ve got to think the 1990s right? The slicked up high hair, the leggy-ness and red pumps are straight out of the Cindy-Crawford-supermodel days of the nineties.

But you’d be surprised. See below if you want to know…

The Heidi Klum for Pringle of Scotland campaign was photographed this century, for the 2003 Fall/Winter campaign by Rankin and suppose to provoke feelings of desire and luxury.

What’s interesting is how cookie-cutter blonde-model-like Heidi Klum was before the Victoria’s Secret Angels, before Project Runway and all that she’s doing now. It’s only when you get to see her in action on the VS runway and show some personality on TV, then you understand how she’s built up the Heidi Klum brand.

I don’t love the come-hither eyes and tongue poking out either, it makes Pringle and Heidi look a little trashy and Paris Hilton like. Not a good look.
