Marc Jacobs Fall 2009/10, another model filled ad campaign
It seems after consecutive season of celebrities fronting the Marc Jacobs advertising campaigns (do we need to be reminded of Victoria Beckham for MJ and all the celebrities for Marc by Marc Jacobs), the curse has been broken for good after Raquel Zimmermann fronted the Spring 2009 campaign, and the up and coming modeling names Ajuma Nasanyana, Irina Kulikova, Kamila Filipcikova, Natasa Vojnovic and Olga Sherer stealing the show for the fall winter 2009/10 campaign.
Photographed by Juergen Teller, the campaign features oversaturated shots with a slightly trashy 1980s urban party-girl vibe. Whether you think it’s hot ot not, this will be another Marc Jacobs collection which will see its signature pieces fly out the stores again.
Admittedly, I am not a fan of the campaign, but I do love the tailoring of look 1 & 3… now if only I could afford them!
