NYFW: Marc Jacobs Fall 2009/10 brings colour back
Brights on the catwalk always bring a smile to my face, and Marc Jacobs did take a step wrong as he brought back colour, the 1980s and sculpted hair-dos all in one timely and 9 – 10 minute long fashion show.
Jacobs showed that although it may be cold outside, you don’t need a wardrobe full of muted colours or “classic” black (though admittedly I do love my black trousers and LBD’s) when you can have the colours of the rainbow in your wardrobe or metallic and floral prints?
Check out the full show above – and add some colour to your wardrobe now – even if it is just putting on a coat of bright nail polish (mine are currently covered in a Barbie-esque pink – L’Oreal’s Jet Set Diament shade of 102 that I have had for too long).
