The Strangers, staring Liv Tyler & Gemma Ward, set for a sequel
As The Strangers tag line says: Lock the door. Pretend you’re safe.
The movie starring Liv Tyler, Scott Speedman, and Gemma Ward has been green lighted for a sequel with news that Liv Tyler and several of the original villains will return.
We hope Gemma’s character, Dollface, is one of them
According to Variety, Rogue Pictures has set the sequel in motion after the movie, which cost only $9 million to make, grossed $54 million in America.
Bryan Bertino, the writer and director set to return to pen the script – fingers crossed it happens, perhaps Gemma will get more of a talking role in the sequel. Production is being slated for early 2009.
