Miranda Kerr debuts as the new face of David Jones

She’s a Victoria’s Secret Angel, been features on numerous magazine covers and ad campaigns, but Miranda Kerr still finds time to come home for her debut as the new face of Australian department store, David Jones.

David Jones held their summer 2008 fashion launch last night in Sydney and it was a show featuring some of Australia’s top designers and up and coming models with Kerr joined on the runway by Alexandra Agoston-O’Connor, Sarah Stephens and Louise van der Vorst.

The runway show took inspiration from the party atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro, the 250-look runway collection brought together some of Australia’s top brands in one big showcase of what the department store will be stocking in the coming weeks. And it was quite an array in stock with everything from hot swimwear by Jets, embellished cocktail dresses by Collette Dinnigan, spangley and chic pieces from Sass & Bide, and lots of prints and pretty flirty dresses.
