The Armani / Knowles partnership extends to Solange Knowles and Armani Jeans

Giorgio Armani obviously thinks that Beyonce Knowles isn’t the only Knowles he wants because he has just announced a new partnership deal with her sister Solange Knowles.

Armani has named Solange as the new ambassador for Armani Jeans.

“Armani Jeans expresses my vision of a young, independent, casual lifestyle with a strong and cool, fashion sensibility. Solange epitomises this style perfectly and brings to it that swing so evident in her new single, I Decided,” explained Giorgio Armani.

The singer/actress and some time model (she’s fronted ad campaigns for her sister’s line younger line, Dereon) is set to wear Armani Jeans throughout her European press tour for her new album, SoL-AngeL and the Hadley Street Dreams.

I wonder if we can expect to see both Knowles sisters front row at Giorgio Armani’s up coming spring 2009 runway presentation this September.
