This northern fall see’s the release of Rachel Bilson’s Edie Rose line for DKNY jeans and the hype begins with the release of the first advertising image.
Joined by models, Fabienne Vanderhaeghen, Regina Feoktistova and Giedre Dukaskaite, Bilson was photographed by Mikael Jansson modeling a chic black dress belted down with a red belt with a funky vest. At first glance, the line is edgy with Bilson’s relaxed style showing through in each of the pieces.
According to WWD, the Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans line will consist of 15 chic and easily mix-and-match pieces in a black and white palette with splashed of yellow pieces thrown in for good measure. (The yellow was inspired by a yellow scarf from Bilson’s own wardrobe).
The collection will launch in the beginning of September in stores like Macy’s, Dillard’s and Nordstrom.
What do you think of this campaign image? Bilson was reportedly very hands on with during the photo shoot, while the backdrop played true to DKNY’s New York style.
