Kate Moss stars in Donna Karan’s fall winter 2008/09 campaign

Kate Moss has made another appearance in Donna Karan’s advertising campaign, this time in the new fall winter 2008/09 campaign.
Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott at LA’s Union Station, Karan aimed to evoke the glamour of the Orient Express. “There’s a romantic classicism, a little darkness, an Eastern European kind of decadence,” Karan said. “She was on a train… on the go, but feels intimate and sexy at the same time. It’s about the woman on the go. We wanted the shots to be more about the woman and how the bag is working with her.”
What do you think of the ad? I love the sultry light and colours, while Kate looks sexy in a rather unexpected aspirational way.
