Karl Lagerfeld tells you to drive safe in a yellow vest

No this isn’t a new trend Karl Lagerfeld is starting but a safety warning for French drivers.
The popular creative director of Chanel and Fendi has been asked by road safety chiefs in France to front their latest campaign, encouraging drivers to wear light-reflecting clothing when traveling at night.
Photographed wearing a bright yellow reflective vest over his trademark black suit, fingerless gloves and sunglasses, the campaign boasts the tagline: “It’s yellow, it’s ugly, it doesn’t go with anything, but it could save your life”.
While this campaign is sure getting some attention, I’m thinking you would get more fashion conscious drivers to wear the vest of Lagerfeld himself designed a version.

Lol I’m trying to understand how wearing a safety vest while driving a car is going to be a warning to other motorists
But I like it anyway.

I find it hard to believe that a fashion king like Karl Lagerfeld would ever agree to wear such a bright coloured saftey vest. It makes me wonder how much he was paid? Nonetheless, he looks very cool in this reflective yellow vest.

Dear Chen, The vest is to put on when you get OUT of your car on those very speedy autobahns in Europe, so that the cars passing at 200kmsph don’t hit you. Karl isn’t stupid.
