Stories from around the traps yesterday…

  • Jonathan Saunders is set to be one of a handful of British designers to collaborate with Target (US) for a Go International capsule collection. I wonder if we’ll see Saunders fan, Thandie Newton wearing his designs before it hits the stores. Doubtful, but one can hope. The collection is set for release in October. [FWD]
  • Patricia Field designs another clothing line for a retail store, this time for British retailer, Marks and Spencer. This of course follows her collection for British online retailer ASOS, and collection of Diet Coke bottles for British Coca-Cola Company. [NY Mag]
  • Chloe Sevigny (model, actress, muse, blah blah blah) is set to expand her repertoire into designing menswear for Opening Ceremony. You know, because it’s better than twiddling your thumbs when not working during the writer’s strike. [Style File]
  • Do you have a preference for the sexiest vegetarian for 2008? Well now is your chance to vote, Peta2.com is taking your thoughts and the list includes the likes of Stella and Paul McCartney, Alyssa Milano, Hayden Panettiere, Pink, Milo Ventimiglia… and so many more.
