As expected, Sarah Jessica Parker lands the cover of Vogue

Sex and the City the movie just premiered in London, which is due it cinemas in two weeks and the stars even filmed inside the Vogue offices. So really one would have expected this US Vogue cover, timed to perfection of course.

Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for the June 2008 cover of US Vogue, which left us wondering just a few things.

  • Did the art department leave all the lines on SJP’s face, or just a few? (Though, we’re glad there are some considering the amount of botox ladies these days)
  • Who’s legs is she sitting in? Big (aka Chris Noth)?
  • Why wasn’t this a shared cover with the rest of the SATC girls? It’s not all about Carrie Bradshaw.
  • And is that smouldering look she’s trying to pull off?

What are your thoughts on this cover?

Wow this cover leaves a lot to be desired.
Her shoot for New York Magazine was amazing and she looked so gorgeous.
    This is a let down
her expression is a little weird with her mouth open a little.

I love SJP, but this picture kinda makes her look like she’s had a stroke. It’s like one side of her face can’t make expression. I’m hoping she got caught looking silly or that’s some bad Photoshopping, and not an overload of Botox!

Holy fugly horses, Batman! This woman isn’t attractive at the best of times. You would expect that when appearing on the cover of Vogue you would look groomed to within an inch and smooth and perfect, but instead they have turned her into a weird grinch monster whose face has frozen.

Well i’m not suprised. Though SJP does look pretty great for her age and all. Vogue US is far over rated, ALT loves SJP because he got a cameo in the film. Can anyone say SUSS?
    xx
    PS love it helen

Yikes, was it her in that movie “Mannequin”?? I forget but she does look oddly like a weird frozen shop dummy. It isn’t the lines that bother me it is the “beigeness” of whole image. SJP isn’t conventionally beautiful but at least she is most often (this cover being an exception)INTERESTING.

Is it just me or is there something strange about her eyes. Almost like she isn’t focused properly or something.
