Hello Kitty in Vogue – the pictures

Imagine being famous and then asked by Japanese Vogue is they could photograph your first trip to Japan while wearing John Galliano for Dior’s designs.

As we reported last week Hello Kitty, the popular cartoon cat, did just that in the June 2008 issue of Vogue Nippon. The cute kitty went shopping, became friends with many big fashion names and modeled every piece from the Dior fall winter 2008/09 collection.

Perhaps we’ll see Hello Kitty front row at Dior next season…

The spread also included a montage of images of Hello Kitty with all her famous fans which includes the likes of Paris Hilton, Carine Roitfeld and Hilary Duff.
