Amy Winehouse to launch clothes and make-up

Her hair and makeup look was so inspirational, Karl Lagerfeld turned all his models in his Chanel Paris-Londres 2007/08 collection into Amy Winehouse replicas. Now the singer is rumored to launch her own brand of makeup and clothes.

“Amy’s style has been copied by girls around the country and there’s a lot of money to be made. It’s a very distinctive look,” source told The Sun. “She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look.”

Could there also be a bright red bra and jean in the clothing line, so fans can replicate her early morning dash out on to the street last year?

I love the comment from a ‘fashion industry insider’ in the article saying “I think this stuff would sell very well in London. She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh.”

Not too fresh. You can say that again. Perhaps there will even be hair pieces, so you can get your own Amy Winehouse beehive (if you can’t do it yourself that is).

Would you buy Amy Winehouse make up and clothes?
