After Chloe dominated the IT bag phenomenon that started earlier this century, Chloe’s little sister, See by Chloe, is finally getting ready to launch its bag line.
“It’s more playful, young and sporty – more cool,” said Myriam Serrano, manager of accessories for Chloe and See by Chloe.
According to reports, the collection will be distinctive for its graphic plays on the See by Chloe logo and quirky fabric and color combinations, with a strong focus on fabrics rather than only leather. Bags will also play on matte and shiny contrasts with cotton gabardine, nylon, and plastic also used alongside calfskin and sheepskin leather.
The collection is geared to the 18-to-30 year olds with prices ranging from age group, with the price ranging from $300 to $470 at retail for fabric bags to $500 to $700 for leather styles. The collection will be unveiled to buyers today, with the bags hitting stores at the end of May.
