Giorgio Armani pops into Armani Exchange

I’ve often wondered what I would do if I were to see a fashion designer like Giorgio Armani in real life (I considered tracking him down when he was in Sydney earlier this month) – but what would I say and do? Probably pull out my camera or my mobile phone.

But the shoppers in at the Armani Exchange store in SoHo, New York were not so nonchalant. “Everyone rushed him and started asking for autographs,” a source told Page Six. “It was mayhem.”

Good to see Giorgio keeping in touch with his more mainstream clientèle.
