Peter Alexander designs sleepwear for your inner Barbie

Known in Australia as the king of pyjamas, fashion designer, Peter Alexander has designed a range of Barbie sleepwear for women. Celebrating his 20th year in the pyjamas business this year, Peter Alexander designed sleepwear with one of his favourite inspirations in mind, Barbie.

“As a designer, I am very inspired by Barbie, so creating a new collection of Barbie sleepwear for women was incredible!” says Alexander.

Known for his prints, the signature print for the Peter Alexander Barbie collection is made up of Barbie’s kitten heels, bag, vintage telephone, notebook and the Eiffel tower.

The sleepwear pieces you can pick up for yourself or a friend this Christmas includes a Diamond babydoll nightie with padded bust and decorated with square rhinestones, a slinky nightie, mini shorts, and PJ pants in the Barbie print. There is also an adorable Barbie lace trim tank exclaiming, ‘I wasn’t Designed to do Housework’ and a Barbie vintage tee with ‘B is for Barbie’.
