Ride around on a Chanel bike

Chanel designed a surfboard a few season ago, and now you can add a bike to their growing collection of sports equipment.
The limited edition 8-speed bike features signature black matelasse leather on the seat and utility (quilted leather) saddle bag with the double-c Chanel logo. The 16.5kg aluminium frame bike will be released as part of the brands spring summer 2008 collection to celebrate the heritage of the house and Coco Chanel’s love of sport.
Care for a ride? Will this bike will set you back around £6,200 or US$12,695 when it hits select Chanel boutiques in December. Don’t forget to get a quality lock and waterproof cover if you plan to take it outdoors.

My boyfriend and his best mate each had their (inexpensive) bikes stolen in the past 3 months. My more expensive bike sits safely inside our house, though I am paranoid every time I chain it up outdoors.
As much as I’d love to ride around on a Chanel bike, you could not leave it ANYWHERE. Also, I doubt it would come anywhere near the top bikes when you actually look at what people are after when they buy a bike. Look at it… does it even have GEARS?! How impractical! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere with hills on that thing.

Sure Coco might have liked to ride bikes but I don’t think she would have wanted to make bikes!

I don’t really know anything about bikes but isn’t that the frame of a men’s bike and not a women’s bike?

Now that’s weird, but I guess the sensation caught our attention huh. I think they should stick to their clothes, bags and shoes, seriously.
