Fashion Weeks are over, but boy were they pushy in Milan

It seems like a lifetime, but the spring summer 2008 fashion weeks are really over. Four straight weeks of fashion shows in New York, London, Milan then Paris finished on Sunday, and I bet there are a few plane loads of fashionistas that are relieved, apparently there were a lot of frazzled fashionistas in Milan recently.

Page Six reports that there was chaos in every corner in Milan with pushy paparazzi trying to get photos of the celebrities in the front row.

At the Alberta Ferretti show the other day, paparazzi were so pushy to snap photos of Winona Ryder in the front row that Anna Wintour grabbed André Leon Talley (both pictured above with Marisa Tomei and Winona) to find comfort in a less-hectic seat further back. The next day, it rained on Marie Claire Editor-in-Chief Joanna Coles’ parade, as she made her way to the Gucci show at Piazza Oberdan. When security refused to let anyone in, Coles “was not having it,” reports Fashion Week Daily. The “feisty Brit . . . was infuriated . . . pulling one [guard] down to her eye level and saying, ‘You need to let me in. You need to let us all in. I’m from Marie Claire in the U.S. . . . This is unacceptable!’ “

You tell them Joanna!
