NYFW S/S 2008: Calvin Klein

Streamlined chic at its best was seen on the Calvin Klein spring summer 2008 runway in New York this week.
Creative director, Francisco Costa chose to design a collection that was devoid of sequins, pleats, ruffles, and bold bright colours. It gave New York Fashion Week followers a chance to breathe as they watched sleek (predominantly ivory) outfits come down the catwalk. The clothes were flowing, serene and elegant. It almost doesn’t matter what shape and fit they were.
The collection was something different in a world of miniskirts, empire waists, beaded detailing, ruffles and folds.
