NYFW S/S 2008: BCBG Max Azria
Pretty flowing BCBG Max Azria dresses hit the catwalk for New York Fashion Week spring summer 2008′s second show of Day 1.
Made from delicate fabrics like organza and tulle, the dresses simply floated down the catwalk with the collection that oozed femininity. Floaty dresses that hit the knee were cinched at the waist opened the show, before moving slowly to more shapely dresses with shorter hemlines, embellished with the signature BCBG touch. The collection, according to the designer himself “etches the silhouette with luminosity using layers of transparencies”
With celebrities like Ciara, Ashlee Simpson, Sophia Bush and tennis star Martina Hingis in the front row; this was definitely a collection for the girls. Wearable, and at times quite delicate looking, could this mean a softer, floatier Spring/Summer 2008?
