NYFW S/S 2008: Josh Goot

Showing before the official New York Fashion Week schedule has kicked off is becoming increasingly common these days with so many designer collections and so little time in a week to show it in. Australian designer Josh Goot showed his spring summer 2008 collection at the Bortolami Gallery yesterday in New York.

Always the consistent performer, Goot kept to his contemporary sportswear made from flowing jersey pieces. Maturing his style slightly with swirling colours that shaped beautifully around the body, showing off the curves in a subtle but chic way.

Not a bad Sping 2008 show. The collection was modern, wearable and chic, with a bit of pastel and metallic thrown in for good measure.
