Reese Witherspoon is the newest Avon lady

She’s one of the few actresses who was not signed up to a major beauty brand, but that is no longer the case. Avon have named Reese Witherspoon has been named the first ever Avon Global Ambassador yesterday.

The Oscar winning actress will be focusing on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief initiatives, and be involved in product development initiatives and appear globally in Avon advertising.

“I am very excited to be partnering with Avon. Avon is more than an iconic world class beauty leader – it is a company that is known the world over as a crusader for women’s causes,” Reese said in a statement.

Reese joins the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Selma Hayek, and Serena and Venus Williams as a face of Avon.

Oh and she’s wearing Nina Ricci and Manolo Blahnik pumps.
