I agree with you Tary, falling on the runway has nothing to do with drugs, or not eating a proper meal! That’s like someone who fell on a footpath, and being accused of drugs etc..

It’s evil to assume that the models who fall were using drugs or didn’t eat a proper meal. Fact is, the shoes are too high, too bulky and the runway are too slippery to navigate.

Seems like a simple solution would be for the designers to have the models shoes specially made with rubber on the bottoms. A relatively thin strip of gripping rubber on the bottome of the soles would prevent this.

Gotta wonder how many have hurt themselves or broken ankles/feet/legs in these falls.

This is the first time in my life that I actually felt sorry for those models. It’s sad…it’s very, very sad that these idiot designers make them wear idiotic clothing and shoes and walk on a slippery runway. Why hasn’t OSHA stepped in (pardon the pun)?
It’s a sad commentary on our culture too, when so many women follow the whims of these sadistic, self centered, idiotic, moronic designers. Someone has to stop them!
