How Marc Jacobs lost all his weight

Designers seem to go through dramatic weight loss just like their celebrity clientele, the most recent designer to lose a large amount of weight was Marc Jacobs. How did he do it?

“I’m eating a totally organic diet, which has no flour, no sugar, no dairy and no caffeine, and I lost weight because of that diet and because of a two-hour exercise regimen seven days a week,” he told the NY Daily News.

The popular designer knows the pitfalls of major weight loss in a world where your appearance is critiqued. “You’re going to get a bunch of blogs saying: ‘He must be on meth in order to be that skinny compared to 10 months ago.'”

He also changed his “funny ’70s reading glasses to contact lenses” after his break up with boyfriend Jason Preston for a complete makeover. And we mustn’t forget his new tan.

    You really can’t tell he’s heavy in the first picture. But it looks like he got a facelift, not only a new haircut and contacts and a fake tan.

    I think he looks fab! He shaved off 20 years off his appearance. Kudos to him!
