Former Maybelline model, Josie Maran, creates cosmetics line
After years of fronting Maybelline and Guess ads and modeling in fashion glossies, model Josie Maran is launching her organic beauty line this September.
Why launch a cosmetic line? Well it all started when Josie was looking for cosmetics that matched her approach to life and not finding any earth friendly products that had the “sophistication and level of luxury she craved”. So she launched her own. The line is called called Josie Maran Cosmetics and will be natural and toxin-free. And according to the WWD, it also aims to brighten complexions with wearable color without losing sight of the environment.
The collection will launch at Barneys New York and San Francisco, and online at www.josiemarancosmetics.com.
