Sunsilk launches their designer collection with a party

As we reported last month, Sunsilk are releasing a limited edition collection of fashion shampoo and conditioner in collaboration with Australian designers Bettina Liano, Wayne Cooper and Akira Isogawa.

The launch was held last week at swish Italian restaurant, La Sala, with the who’s who of Sydney in attendance. Which basically meant a lot of photos were snapped, and the canapés were extra yummy. The event was hosted by TV host, Sophie Falkiner, and featured a small fashion show featuring the Summer 2007 collection from Liano, Cooper and Isogawa (none of which showed their collections at Australian Fashion Week, instead hosting show rooms together instead).

The collection took almost 12 months to produce the Bettina Liano Shine Addict, Akira Isogawa Shine Angel and Wayne Cooper Seductive Shine collection of shampoo and conditioners.

Check out some snaps from the show above.

Beautiful blog on Beauty…keep the good work going on…Well I am new here just wanted to say hi…and whenever you get time please visit my blog…

  • Marie says:

Have seen these around (not in the shops yet obviously!). Although I love the idea I am wondering…Is it the same product in each bottle but the designers have just changed the fragrance and the outside of the bottle? Or are they all completely different products for each designer?

  • Helen says:

    Hi Marie,

They all have different fragrances and do slightly different thing (but aren’t targeted to specific hair types).

Akira – leaves your hair soft and silky
Wayne Cooper – leaves your hear sleek and sexy
Bettina – I never received a sample so unfortunately I haven’t tried it!

I personally love the Wayne Cooper one the best, but the Akira bottle is my favourite.

    Hope this helps!

  • Marie says:

Ah hah thank-you…now to decide if I choose the one that makes my hair look the nicest or the one with the prettiest bottle. Might be easier to just try them all!
