Online shopping news: Net-A-Porter displays taxes, Rescu.com.au sale and search for PayPal shopping sites with The Find

Ah online shopping news, this can only be a bad thing for me – I’ve just put in about 6 orders in the last 3 months (new jeans x 2, a new bag, tops, and jackets were some of my purchases). But here is what’s new in the online shopping world:

  • Hate being surprised by international duty and taxes when you shop online – especially after you’ve spent a bundle at fabulous online stores like MatchesFashion.com and Net-a-Porter.com? Well Net-a-Porter.com is changing its shipping policy for international shoppers, so that all tax and duties are calculated for you at check out. So the only surprise you’ll get if you shop at Net-a-Porter is your beautiful purchase arriving at your door step early!
  • If you’re looking to stock up on your favourite beauty products this sale season, don’t forget to hit Rescu.com.au, the Australia online beauty store that stock a great range of international cult brands, from Pout, Cargo, Anatomicals and Caudalie. Their sale starts on Friday 15th June and will run until 5pm Saturday 30th of June. Check out www.rescu.com.au on Friday – one thing I know will be on sale is some Cargo lip gloss (pictured right).
  • Finally, I’ve just discovered the joy of shopping at online stores that allow you to pay via PayPal, so when I received an email letting me know that TheFind.com and PayPal are launching paypal.thefind.com – a new shopping search engine built specifically to enable consumers to browse products exclusively from merchants who accept PayPal payments – I knew it was a bad good thing. Check it out now!
