Gemma Ward to be Vogue India’s first cover girl
Australian supermodel Gemma Ward has a knack for scoring Vogue ‘firsts’ – she was on the first cover’s of Vogue China, Vogue Girl (Vogue Australia’s short-lived answer to Teen Vogue), and she was also the first model to be featured on a Teen Vogue cover.
Now Gemma is going to be the Vogue India’s first cover girl, which was recently shot by iconic fashion photographer, Patrick Demarchelier. The magazine won’t launch until September, but Demarchelier has confirmed that he shot the 19-year-old for the cover and accompanying story. “It has an angelic twist,” Demarchelier hinted.
