Vintage style luggage like Some Like it Hot

I love the luggage brands that bring together modern style with travel functionality (McQueen for Samsonite anyone?), but when I saw this old style leather suitcase on Destination Style in an antique brown, I wanted it.

It looks like something Marilyn Monroe’s character would have pulled behind her in Some Like it Hot as she walked along the train station platform. Carrie Bradshaw reenacted the scene in season five of Sex and the City, but it just wasn’t the same with the modern luggage. The leather trimmings and cream lining gives this vintage style brown suitcase real character, while there is is a silver combination lock which keeps your belongings as secure. Oh did I mention that a matching toiletry case comes with the suitcase?

Check it out now at Destination Style – while you’re there check out their affordable clothes and accessories. It’s just a novelty to have fashionable but affordable clothes on an Australian online store!

    Hi Evangeline,

The website that sold the luggage never said what designer the suitcase was created by and I can’t seem to access the page either.

But try this website for vintage luggage – which you can also rent: http://www.vintageluggage.com

    Hope that helps!

Hi thanks for the advise! Let me know if you’ve seen anything similar to buy recently. I love the vintage Samsonite but can’t afford the price tag!

    Gracias.
