No no no – Amanda Bynes for Steve & Barry’s
God help us, Steve & Barry’s are really jumping on the celebrity designing for chain store bandwagon. Amanda Bynes has signed a deal with the US chain store to create and exclusive collection of clothes and accessories.
Bynes isn’t known for her design skills or fabulously stylish clothes, Steve & Barry’s must be banking on her popularity among the teenage set.
The collection will be launched in stores on Aug. 10.
I have a sneaking suspicion Steve & Barry’s will be very wary about who they release the preview images to this time – especially after the bad publicity they received in the blogging world with the Sarah Jessica Parker for Steve & Barry’s collection.
When will this celebrities-can-be-designers shtick end?
